It looks like Clem and I are just behind you! We can't travel too far in one day, but we'll try to catch up as fast as possible. Do you know how many houses you've passed since you found this room with the pool table?

[ He's been feeling like the biggest idiot possible since the last conversation they had. That's the second time he's upset the hell outta this kid and that time, well. It had been a valid one. More than valid. One hell of a way to react to something that could be so sensitive. Smooth one, Fair.

He heaves a sigh at his tablet. He's been putting it off for days now. He should say something. Got the time to do so now at any rate. Not like he'll be sleeping much tonight.

So, eventually... eventually he decides to just pick it up and go with it. Hoping whatever he says doesn't end up just making things more strained between 'em. ]

...Hey, Al? [ Belatedly, he realizes how late it just might be. ]

Was with the group in the ice tunnels to the south. The passage most easterly held a dead end. Taking the east passage then branching to the south led to a dead end with a locked door. Could lead further out.

Other group already mentioned the locked door in the western tunnel. Nothing else of interest found.

[Sadly, it just sounds like a straight and narrow report. Like if it were text it would read as a short-hand written note. Oh well.]

Does a house with giant phallus drawn on the wall ring any bells to you?

[Specific time of day somewhere mid-dayish, depends on what Al's doing, bump it around a couple of hours as necessary here or there.]

[Kunsel finally has a few minutes to himself now that Zack's here and is off mothering Cloud. Kunsel thought he heard something about breakfast and a shave, and decided to give the two some privacy by excusing himself to go check up on a few things on his tablet.

Who would want to? Technically, he could just let it sit. Pretend it never happened.

...But then Al would find out about it anyway. And he doesn't want him to find out that way. It just feels so... callous. But facing this also just reminds him how much he feels like he screwed up again.

But... he's not going to run away from this. So, after finding space to himself and after a few false starts, well... He's attempting something. ]

[ Yeah, Al. He's got nothing right now. And he... might not have realized that he slipped his hand off the button after a moment. ]

[ It's late when he calls. But that seems to be the norm at this point. He would have called sooner, but things got... interesting the day before. But compared to what Al must be going through? It's nothing. Everyone made it in the end. No one potentially got eaten. Al may have not said what happened. But it doesn't take much to draw that as a possible conclusion given Freya's situation.

At least this time when he calls, there's no drawn out pause. There's no almost-hang up. But there's still a hesitance. That maybe it's still too early to be talking. But Al had contacted his text. That should be enough invitation, right? He wonders if hearing his talk from the other day helped him, too... Who knows? Regardless, he takes it slow. ]
